Bright Thinking

Its game four in the Stanley Cup run for the Boston Bruins and the Vancouver Canucks.

Tonight’s game is critical for both teams. Win it and the Canucks will carry a commanding 3-1 lead back to Vancouver and have a chance to win the Cup at Rogers Arena on Friday night.

Lose it and suddenly the series will be tied at two games apiece, with the Bruins having momentum on their side.

Tonight fans for both teams will be praying for a positive outcome. As I write this I don’t know what the outcome will be but I do know the team that wins will have changed their perspective and kicked fear to the curb. Every single player on the team will be accountable for their success.

So, what about you? What period in the game of life are you in? Are you in that place that is just comfortable enough that you don’t feel you need to put in any effort? You’re OK with the misery because, well, you have lots of company.
Are you at the point that you are angry enough, courageous enough, and willing to move through the fear to achieve what you want most? If you are not sure here are a few questions to ask yourself.

• Do I choose to experience “peace of mind” or do I choose to experience conflict?
• Do I choose to experience love or fear?
• Is the conversation (verbal or nonverbal) loving to the other person and is it loving to me?

To truly get to your tipping point and beyond you need to look at the world differently and be willing to change your belief system about what is real for you. You need to heal your relationships and let go of the past. You need to let go of the “past and future preoccupation” and choose to live in the “NOW”.

Ten years from now the fans from the winning team will tell the story of how they were there the night of the tipping point that lead to the Stanley Cup.
Will you remember your tipping point in ten years? I do May 10. That’s the date I let go of the victim and decided to live my life with love and intention.

I would love to hear from you about what your tipping point is in your life!
